Over 80 community leaders, government officials, and civil society representatives gathered in Hambantota to participate in a landmark multi-stakeholder forum convened by CIDIG. The forum provided a structured platform for dialogue on participatory governance reforms and citizen engagement strategies for southern Sri Lanka.
Participants explored evidence-based approaches to strengthening local democratic institutions, improving transparency in public service delivery, and ensuring the meaningful inclusion of marginalised voices in policy processes.
